PURPOSE:To bend with high accuracy without requiring adjustment of depth of a punch by detecting a bending angle photoelectrically by the reflected light from the end face of a work during bending, finding the variation from the set value of the bending angle and controlling a ram according to the amount of variation. CONSTITUTION:A work 5 is placed on a die 2, and a ram is lowered to start bending of the work 5. At this time, the reflected light from the end face of the work 5 enters the image sensor camera 8 of an angle detector 6. A detected angle signal is A/D converted by an image processing device 12 and inputted to a central arithmetic unit 13. The central arithmetic unit 13 compares and operates digital signals inputted momentarily from the image processing device 12 and the data stored beforehand in a memory circuit 14 and calculates the bending angle. At the same time, it compares with the set bending angle for which spring back is taken into consideration by an inputting device 20, and calculates the variation. Control signals are outputted from the central arithmetic unit 13 until the variation becomes zero. A ram driving device 19 lowers the ram 3 according to the signals, and when the variation becomes zero, lowering of the ram 3 is stopped and bending is completed. |
