摘要 PURPOSE:To analyze an inorganic gas and an organic gas with high sensitivity by providing electric resistors respectively between a DC source and a cathode electrode of light emitting part of an optical electrolytic dissociation type ionization detector and between an anode electrode and an earth point to perform stable electric discharge. CONSTITUTION:A voltage controller 27 having a resistor is provided between the DC source 26 and the cathode 19 for emitting light from the discharging gas at a light emitting chamber 18. In case of using He as a discharging gas, a gaseous inorganic sample excluding Ne can be dissociated electrolytically by ultraviolet energy due to He light emission at the chamber 13. In case of an organic gas analysis, since the output peak of N is overlapped with the output peak of low hydrocarbon, gaseous Ar is used as the discharging gas to eliminate the N component peak for the prevention. Thus, a >=3kOMEGA resistor is provided in the controller 27, the resistor is also provided between the anode earth point and the anode 16 of the chamber 18, and these resistors are used together with resistor of the cathode side to stabilize electric discharge. Thereby, the highly precise analysis is made possible by a simple apparatus without the need of a vacuum pump.
