PURPOSE:To obtain a heat insulating cover appropriate for the inspection of a meter, having high heat insulating property and also easily attachable by constituting the titled heat insulating cover by a body case provided with a meter storing room at its inside and upper cover sliding grooves at its external surface, upper covers and a clamping band. CONSTITUTION:The heat insulating cover consists of a body case 1 with a dividing structure provided with the storing room 4 storing a water supply meter B at its inside, the double upper covers 2, 2' engaged with the sliding grooves 3, 3' obtained by forming recessed parts with prescribed width on the upper surface part of the case by cutting so as to be freely slidable in the grooves 3, 3', and the clamping band 5 clamping and fixing the case 1 at the assembled status and abutted to both side parts to be used as a guide member. Dividing bodies 1a, 1b constituting the case 1 are joined to each other, the upper covers 2, 2' are engaged with the sliding grooves 3, 3' and then the external periphery of the dividing bodies 1a, 1b and both sides of the upper covers 2, 2' are clamped by the clamping band 5 to assemble the heat insulating cover A. |
