PURPOSE:To obtain an automatic original feeder which can sense original groups every time when copying ends by detecting the turning of partition members parting the original groups. CONSTITUTION:Original groups 91, 92... are laminated and placed on the feed tray 6 of the automatic original feeder in the state that they are segmented by the partition plates 111, 112... which are freely turnable downward, group by group. The originals of the lowermost original group 91 are automatically fed successively from the lowest one by a separating roller 8, a feed belt 7, etc., to undergo copying. The partition plate 111 turning upon ending of copying of the group 91 falls through the notch 12 of the tray 6 and is detected by a detecting sensor, by which the completion of the copying of the original group 91 is sensed. Following to this, the existence of the original group 92 is detected by the 2nd detecting sensor 17 and the copying by the original group 92 is accomplished. Thus, the automatic original feeder which can sense the original groups at every ending of their copying is provided and the operator's operation is made easy. |
