PURPOSE:To make the whole of a heating unit thinner, make the space of the inside of a KOTATSU larger, and raise the appearance thereof, by a method in which large numbers of small-diametered infrared lamps are connected in series, and covered with a body and a cover plate. CONSTITUTION:A cover plate 9 to be provided on the downside of the case body 5 is made of the plate of glass, ceramic, etc., having a light permeability and a heat resistance. A reflecting plate 12 is provided in the face of the cover plate 9 in the case body 5, and large numbers of small-diameter infrared lamps 15 formed of a soft glass are set between the plate 12 and the plate 9. Since the bulb 17 of the infrared lamps 15 has a maximum heating temperature of 250 deg.C or lower, sufficiently lower than 400 deg.C which is a maintenance reference value, the case body 5 requires no double-structure and the whole of the device can be made thinner and simplified. |
