摘要 PURPOSE:To obtain the titled thermoelectric element of large strength by a method wherein a P type element and an N type element are mutually coupled, the end part on the coupled side is retained at high temperature and the end parts on the non- coupled side at low temperature, respectively, and at the elements to generate thermoelectromotive force at the end parts on the non-coupled side, a protruded part is integrally formed in one body at the end part on the coupled side of either the P type element or the N type element whose heat resistance is larger and the integrally formed part is used as a part to be heated. CONSTITUTION:A P type element 1 consisting of an Mn-added FeSi2 and an N type element 2 consisting of a Co-added FeSi2 are mutually coupled at the end part A on the coupled side and a P-N junction surface 4 is formed at the coupled part. On the other hand, at the end parts B on the non-coupled side located on the opposite side to the end part A, leads 3 are respectively attached to the end parts B by performing a high frequency welding, etc. In this constitution, at the end part A on the coupled side, the element 1, which is excellent both in heat resistance and corrosion resistance, is let protrude from the end part A and the protruded part 1a is integrally formed in one body. As a result, the thermoelectric element is constituted, the protruded part 1a is applied heat using a burner 5, etc., and the thermoelectromotive force is formed between the leads 3.
