PURPOSE:To enable to smoothly move a step motor to the target stopping position in a short time by storing an ideal speed curve in a memory. CONSTITUTION:When a start signal (a) is inputted to a step motor 1, an ideal speed curve A in response to the rotating angle is selected from a memory, and the ideal speed and position at the prescribed time point are sequentially outputted from an ideal speed instructing circuit 7 on the basis of a time signal from a timer 6. An error detector 8 compares the ideal speed with the actual speed and the ideal position with the actual position, detects the both differences, and calculates the exciting time of the winding of the motor 1 on the basis of the differences. The output of the detector 8 sets a timing circuit 9, a pulse is produced from the timing circuit at the exciting timing to an exciter 10, which amplifies the pulse to excite the winding of the motor 1. |
