PURPOSE:To prevent the lowering of the analysis accuracy by closing a communicating port to a branch path provided on the inner wall of the main passage with a ball so as not to have a branch tube and a valve turning to a dead space when unwanted gas is discharged to the branch tube. CONSTITUTION:The diameter of a communicating port A to a branch path J2 opened on the inner wall of the main passage J1 of a T tube J is made smaller than that of a branch tube J2 while a ball B is housed in the branch path J2 and allowed to press on the communicating part A by a spring pressure of a weak spring R inserted thereinto J2 to close it A. A piping on the outflow side of an opening/closing valve V gets together with an exhaust tube of a molecule separator S and connected to a discharge pump P. When the opening/closing value V is opened and the pressure in the branch tube J2 reduced, the ball B thus far pressing on the communicating port A by a very small pressure is pushed open due to a pressure difference between the main passage J1 and the branch path J2 and the gas flow running to the molecule separator S from a gas chromatograph G is changed in the direction to be discharged from the branch path J2. |
