The precision of a measuring pump with constant revolutions is achieved irrespective of mains or load fluctuations, by determining stroke length and time as determinants of delivery, and digitally controlling pumping stroke to compensate for mains or load fluctuations. Stroke time and length are applied in form of BCD signals to the delivery gauge, the stroke number serving as enabling signal. The resulting delivery signal is applied to a comparator together with a pre-set stroke number, resulting in signals controlling stroke length. These are compared with limit signals.
