The belt 11 which runs in a constant manner under the rollers 1 cooperates with pressure rollers 9 whose axes 8 traverse a fixed gutter 6 and a U-shaped profile 4 which is longitudinally displaceable with respect to the gutter by means of a jack 14-15. Each axis 8 traverses a vertical opening 4b produced in the profile 4 and an oblique slot 6a formed in the flanges of the gutter 6. Thus the displacement to the left of the gutter 6 causes the lowering of the axes 8 in the vertical openings 4b of the profile 4 in order to disengage the drive of the roller 1, and to brake the one against which the pad 18 comes into contact.
