The invention concerns portico piles which maintain sheeting panels for curved excavations comprising three rigid elements, an element 1 connected to the element 2 by means of a hinge 3, enabling their angle of opening to be varied according to the angle of the side of the curve of the excavation in order to present the faces provided with slides 4 substantially perpendicular to the side of the excavation in order to receive the flat sheeting panels, the angle of opening being maintained by means of the third detachable element 5. In order to constitute the portico, an element 7 is added and arranged to receive and maintain the cross-pieces which may be a screw-jack, and the said element is fixed either on the element 5 or at the level of the hinge 3. <IMAGE>
