摘要 The invention essentially relates to a non-skid system 40 intended to ensure contact with a high coefficient of friction when it is applied with a certain pressure P against a slippery road surface 25 covered with a surface material which is either hard (film 65 of ice 66) or snowy (film of snow 27) or viscous (mud), along a bearing zone of the said slippery surface 25. The strip 40 is noteworthy in that it comprises : - a succession of elastic protuberances 41-42... making between them, and along the length of the strip 40, a hollow reinforcement portion 51-52, - and, moreover, a plurality of hard asperities, especially studs 6, arranged in the said hollow portions 51 of the strip 40. This strip is previously fitted to the tyre 1 of the wheel of a self-propelled vehicle in order to allow movement in winter over all road surfaces. Its advantage is essentially to allow better adherence on not very deep snow whilst preserving the same characteristics on another type of road surface. <IMAGE>
