PURPOSE:To facilitate attachment and detachment of a roll by providing a spring to give force to a spline shaft and a spline yoke inside a cover in which the periphery of the fitted part of the spline shaft and the spline yoke is hermetically enclosed to be slid. CONSTITUTION:A spline yoke 4 connected to a fitting yoke 2 on a drive side via the first joint 3 and a spline shaft 7 connected to a slip yoke 5 on a driven side via the second joint 6 are fitted together to be slid, and a pass hole 9 is provided for passing a spline shaft 7 in the center part of a cross pin 8 of the first joint 3, while on the periphery of the fitted part of the spline shaft 7 and the spline yoke 4, an outside and an inside cover 10 and 11 hermetically enclosed to be slid are furnished, and besides in the cover 11, a spring 12 is provided to push the spline shaft 7 and the spline yoke 4 in the opposite directions. This construction permits to shorten the drive shaft without reducing the capacity of torque transmission at the fitted part of the spline, and facilitate to attach and detach a roll. |
