PURPOSE:To arrest and separate lubricating oil efficiently without increasing the flow resistance of the refrigerant by a method wherein a separating chamber is formed by a plate, equipped with an introducing port communicated with the delivery port of the main body of the compressor, and a cover body, equipped with a leading port and a lubricating oil dripping port. CONSTITUTION:In the rotary vane type compressor, the refrigerant gas, introduced into a compression mechanism 2 through a suction port 11, inflows into the separating chamber 15 after being compressed under expanding slightly during passing through the delivery port of a rear side plate 10 and the introducing port 13 of the plate 14 in the separating device 1 and collides against the plane part 16b of the cover body 16. At this time, the mist of the lubricating oil in the discharging gas adheres to and drips from the plane part 16b and, then, drips into a lubricating oil reservoir L from the drip port 23 through a baffle plate 17. Thereafter, the direction of the discharged gas is changed and the speed thereof is reduced by riding over a flange 22, while the gas is released into a casing 4 from the leading port 21 leaving the remaining mist of the lubricating oil at the outer periphery of the flange 22 and subsequently discharged from the delivery port 5. |
