PURPOSE:To make easier the repairing and inspection of the joints of concrete marine structures by a method in which a compartment is provided in a joint formed by the end partition walls of floating blocks and a manhole, etc., through which a worker comes from the inside of the floating block into the compartment in the joint or vice versa is provided. CONSTITUTION:A chain block 14 for pulling blocks is attached to a chain block- fixing tool 13 on floating box blocks 1A and 1B. Both the blocks 1A and 1B are pulled and matched with each other, a PC steel wire 6 is pierced through a sheath hole 4 on the draft line and tensed by a jack, and the blocks 1A and 1B are joined with each other with the aid of an adhesive coated on the joint 2. Sea water in the joint compartment 16 formed by end partition walls 12A and 12B is discharged, and the PC steel wire 6 is orderly put into the sheath hole 4 from above to below while watching a water level meter 18 and the tension of the steel wire is released. Afterwards, a worker goes from the manhole 19 into the joint compartment 16 and a water-sealing material is coated on the bonded part of the joint 2. |
