A plate bending apparatus for use with a work bench, which comprises a generally rectangular plate clamping member (1) having a rectilinear bending edge (2), a pair of adjustable clamping devices (4), one at each end of member (1) for clamping the member (1) to the work bench (7) with a plate (16) between them. A bending board (14) is hingedly mounted on the clamping member(1) at locations spaced along the bending edges (2), such that an upper surface of the board (14) can be hingedly moved between a condition generally coplanar with a lower surface of the member (1), and a position inclined thereto whereby the plate (16) is bent about the edge (2). |
