PURPOSE:To sufficiently secure the contact pressure of a recording electrode and a film and to enhance film durability, by pressing the recording electrode to the film and recording paper in applying signal voltage to the recording electrode. CONSTITUTION:In applying signal voltage to a recording electrode 2, a current is also supplied to the coil 20 of a solenoid 18 and, whereupon, a plunger 19 compresses a spring 17. As a result, a head mount stand 1b, that is, a head 12 is pushed to the side of a platen 5 while the recording electrode 2 is brought into pressure contact with a recording film 1 and recording paper 4 and good recording of high recording density is performed. On the other hand, in a usual time free from a printing signal, a current is not supplied to the solenoid 18 and the press state of the recording electrode 2 is released. As a result, unreasonable force is not applied to the recording film in the movement of the head 12 or the recording film and, therefore, the durability of the recording film 1 is enhanced. |
