A rigid vinyl chloride-ethylene copolymer has an ethylene content of 2 to 10 per cent. by weight and a dynamic processability index (defined) of at least 150. A suitable method of making these polymers is by polymerizing the monomers in aqueous suspension having a pH of 3 to 11, a temperature of 5 to 95 DEG C. and a pressure of up to 1000 p.s.i. The products are of high heat stability and may be mixed with the usual lubricants and stabilizers as well as with polyvinyl chloride, chlorinated polyethylene, acrylate/methacrylate copolymers and ABS resins.
