In order to improve the efficiency of turbines it is desirable to run these with the highest possible combustion temperature. The limit to this occurs, however, where overheating of the turbine threatens. In order to permit a higher combustion temperature therefore, it is proposed in the case of a turbine with at least one rotor pivotally mounted in a housing and at least one combustion chamber and at least one combustion duct between rotor and combustion chamber and at least one air inlet, a fuel feed device and an ignition device, that each combustion chamber be arranged on a circulating rotor and be equipped with a breakerless ignition device and that the fuel feed device have a stationary injection device for injecting fuel into a passing rotating combustion chamber before this reaches the combustion duct.
