PURPOSE:To prevent the projection of a shaft into the alarming area of the revolution number in a windmill and the like by generating a liquid pressure in a master cylinder by the rotational energy and the moment of inertia of a counter weight for adding a braking power to the shaft. CONSTITUTION:When a shaft 1 surpasses the area of a fixed number of revolutions, a centrifugal clutch 8 is connected and the revolutional power of an output drum 8b is transmitted via a lining 11 to a circular cam 12, which is rotated against a spring 16 to disengage a kick lever 20 from a roller 20. As soon as the roller 20 is removed from the circular cam 12, the kick lever 21 is rotated by a counter weight 25 to generate a braking liquid pressure in a master cylinder 26 via an arm 22 and a con-rod 26a, and a brake cylinder 30 is operated for stopping. When a rope 31 is operated, the counter weight is returned. This construction permits to prevent the shaft from projecting into an alarming area of revolution number automatically. |
