<p>Substantially pure human immune interferon protein having a specific activity of 107 U/mg or more, and a process for preparing the same from a culture liquor of transformed cells containing DNA which has a human immune interferon-coding base sequence. The human immune interferon is obtained by destroying cells recovered from a culture liquor and purifying the resulting solution containing human immune interferon using anti-human immune interferon monoclonal antibody. The transformed cells are obtained by introducing recombinant DNA molecule into host cells. The human immune interferon protein can be used as antiviral agent and antitumor agent. </p> |
