Drive, in particular a marine drive, consisting of a screw propeller (1, 1A) and a drive shaft (8) which can be coupled to a drive engine and to the free end of which the screw propeller (1, 1A) is fastened. The screw propeller (1) is electrically insulated from the drive shaft (8) or a shaft hub (2) fastened to the latter so that stress corrosion is avoided. Furthermore, the torque is transmitted between drive shaft (8) or shaft hub (2) and screw propeller via elastically extensible, electrically non-conductive power-transmission elements (3) in order to avoid excessive torsional shocks on the drive shaft or gearing members during starting or stopping or load alternation. <IMAGE>
