<p>PURPOSE:To improve accelerating performance of an engine and to prevent generation of black smoke, by providing an on-off valve which is opened transiently for a prescribed while when an accelerator pedal is depressed rapidly at a portion of a passage extended between a compressed-air tank and a compressed- air injecting port which is opened when an intake valve is opened. CONSTITUTION:A compressed-air injecting port 8 which is opened when an intake valve 6 is opened is formed in a valve seat 7 of the intake valve 6, and an on-off valve 4 which is opened transiently for a prescribed while when an accelerator pedal is depressed rapidly is provided at a portion of a fluid passage 3 extended between the injection port 8 and a compressed-air tank 2. When the intake valve 6 is opened, air is injected through the valve seat 7 for supplementing lack of air caused transiently when the accelerator pedal is depressed rapidly. Here, in case that a depression signal 11 of the accelerator pedal has exceeded a prescribed value, the on-off valve 4 is opened by a computer 5 for a prescribed while corresponding to the pedal depressing speed. With such an arrangement, it is enabled to make a boost compensator unnecessary.</p> |
