PURPOSE:To perform the repairing of a printing tape without stopping a wire element, by separating a receiving roll from a marking wheel by the cutting detection signal of the supplied printing tape. CONSTITUTION:When a wire element 16 is introduced from the side of a metering wheel 4, a definite wire length is measured by the metering wheel 4 and guided to a marking wheel 5 while a printing tape 14 is bonded to the surface of the wire element 16 under heating and pressure by a printing head. When the printing tape 14 is cut, a photoelectric switch 17 which is turned ON and OFF by the presence and absence of light permeation is brought to an ON-state because of no blocking matter and an air cylinder 19 is driven through a solenoid valve 18 by a detection signal while the leading end part of a piston rod presses the support part of a receiving roll 9 which is, in turn, pushed down to operate an alarm lamp or an alarm buzzer 21. |
