PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of pressure against a plate group and short- circuit troubled around these plates by a mold resin part and aim at the elongation of service life in a lead storage battery. CONSTITUTION:A plate group 1 consisting of a positive plate 2, a negative plate 3, a separator 4 and so on is set to a fixed pressurizing state, while the periphery of these plates is molded with thermoplastic resin excellent in acid resistance and antioxidation and solidified into unification, thus a plate group body 6 is secured. Therefore, a fixed degree of pressure is imposed on each plate of the plate group body 6, delaying the infinitestimality of an anode active material, whereby deterioration in an anode plate is thus prevented, and because of adhering unification by resin molding in and around the plate group 1, short- circuit trouble around these plates is nil so that the promotion of substantial longevity in a lead storage battery can be brought to fruition now. |
