Antifouling compsns. contain a fluorohydrocarbon polymer and an anti-fouling agent. Typically the compsns. contain PTFE, its mixt. with perfluoropropylene, polyvinylidene fluoride, or ethylene-tetrafluoroethylene copolymers. In an example, an antifouling compsn. contained 100 g. PTFE average mol.wt. about 5000, 100 g. Cu powder 80% of particle size 10 mu, and 30 g. MoS2. - Used in treatment of boat hulls, heat exchangers, cooling towers, pipework, etc. |
