PURPOSE:To make it possible to smoothly discharge raw materials, by providing an air duct communicating between the upper position of a lateral wall of a first trough to which a second trough is connected, and the lower side of the second trough to prevent the raw materials from solidifying in the vicinity of the lateral wall of the first trough. CONSTITUTION:A first trough 7 having its bottom closed, for a transverse feed conveyor, is disposed in the bottom due-out port 2 of a hopper 1, and a second trough 9 having a cross-sectioned feed area less than that of the first trough 7 is connected to one lateral wall 8 of the trough 7. Further, there is provided with a first screw conveyor extending between the inside of the first trough 7 and the inside of the second trough 9. A second screw conveyor 11 for transversely feeding the raw material toward the side of the trough 9 is disposed in the trough 7. The upper position of the lateral wall 8 of the trough 7 is communicated with the lower side of the trough 9 with the use of an air duct 16. As a result, the deaeration of the raw materials due to the feed by the screw conveyor 11 is prevented, and therefore, the raw materials is prevented from solidifying in the vicinity of the laterl wall 8, thereby the raw materials may be smoothly discharged by the screw conveyor 10. |
