PURPOSE:To regulate stably bit location of a Bloch line by forming a Bloch magnetic wall around a stripe domain into a wave form. CONSTITUTION:In taking the Bloch magnetic wall around the stripe domain into a wave form viewed vertically to a ferromagnetic film face, the rotation of magnetization in the magnetic wall is smaller than 180 deg. when the Bloch line is at an up part 31 and larger than 180 deg. when at a down part 32, the Bloch lines are gathered easily at the up part 31 and they are parted from the down part 32. Thus, when the shape of the waving form is definite, even if the magnetic wall exists anywhere in the ferromagnetic film face, an equal energy is attained and the regulation of bit location without any action disturbing the transfer is given. As a result, the bit location of the Bloch line is regulated stably without using a magnetostatic force of the Bloch line to a magnetic pole. |
