<p>PURPOSE:To aim at enhancing the stability of conveying of sheets, by providing such an arrangement that, of sheet biting positions in a feed roller mechanism, one which is positioned on the extension of the feed roller mechanism in the conveying direction of the latter, is set most upstream of the mechanism in the conveying direction. CONSTITUTION:Sheets 2 are separately fed, one by one, by means of a feed roller mechanism 1 including a sorting section and having a width narrower than that of the sheets 2, and are discharged downstream of the feed roller mechanism 1 with the use of a conveying roller mechanism 4 having a conveying speed higher than that of the mechanism 1. During the conveying of the sheets, of biting positions 42', 42a' for the sheets 2 in the mechanism 4, the one 42a' which is positioned on the extension of the conveying path of the mechanism 1 is set most upstream of the mechanism 1 in the conveying direction of the sheets 2. With this arrangement, the skewing of the sheets can be hardry brought about, thereby the conveying stability of the sheets is aimed at being enhanced.</p> |
