PURPOSE:To stabilize the bit location by a vertical Bloch line pair by providing periodically a magnetic film to a magnetic wall around a stripe domain. CONSTITUTION:A stripe magnetic film 32 is provided periodically to a surrounding magnetic wall 21 of a stripe domain for high-density storage. A strain magnetic field is generated by a vertical Bloch line pair 33 formed in correspondence to information 1 to the film 32, and the line pair 33 is fixed, thereby stabilizing the bit location by the vertical Bloch line pair. |
