PURPOSE:To lower the temperature of a bearing and lessen deformation due to heat and further increase load-resistant capacity by providing a flow passage in a static plate which slides in response to thrust and introducing high-pressure lubricative fluid and further discharging said fluid on the sliding surface for cooling. CONSTITUTION:Small holes 20a, 20b for spouting high-pressure oil are provided at two radial points on a static plate surface 17b to be a sliding surface, while oil sending holes 21a, 21b are bored from the outer peripheral side to the interior of the static plate 17, and high-pressure oil spout out from small holes 20a, 20b upon the sliding surface of the static plate 17 via connecting metal fittings 22a, 22b and the oil sending holes 21a, 21b. The plural number of fan-shaped static plates 17 are radially provided on the outer periphery of an axis 11 of rotation in such a manner as the plates 17 can slide along the under surface of a rotary plate 16 at the bottom of a thrust collar 15, and elastically supported on a bearing stand 19 through many coil springs 18, and further maintained in an oil reservoir 12. A base metal 17a is copperish metal with excellent conductivity and has a babbit metal 17b lining. |
