PURPOSE:To prevent all noises under the vibration, slip contact, etc. of a spring, by planting hair in such electrically-deformed part of the spring as a wound part. CONSTITUTION:The hooks 1b of a tension coil spring 1 are engaged with a fixed and a moving members, respectively. The spring 1 is used in an ordinary state to always pull the moving member toward the fixed member. When an impulse is exerted on the spring 1 as when the moving member collides against a stopper, the vibration of a wound part 1a is quickly damped by hair 2 and the vibration noise is eliminated by the hair. At the same time, noises at the engaged portions of the hooks 1b are also eliminated. If the impulse is strong enough to bring the adjacent wire windings of the wound part 1a into contact with each other, the short fibers 2a of the hair function as buffers between the wire windings to prevent collision noises between them. |
