<p>PURPOSE:To attain high speed driving of a thermal recording head by making a printing time for career control at the 2nd line and after to zero if >=2 lines where all picture elements are black are generated continuously. CONSTITUTION:Thermal recording elements are driven sequentially for printing in block unit normally by the repetition of data driving enable time TM of data and a driving enable time TS of career control data (actual driving times are tM, tS respectively) in the driving time of one thermal recording elements divided into two timings. Then, detecting that lines (i), (i+1) where all picture elements are black are generated consecutively for two lines, and the printing of data of the (i+1)th line corresponding to the 2nd line is executed while the time TM independently of the repetition of TM, TS, and the time TS is omitted as zero, then the time TM continues as times (8), (10), (12) continuously.</p> |
