An annular flange extends inwardly from the inner wall of the container about its circumference adjacent the mouth, with the flange extending toward the open mouth at an angle of 15 DEG to 60 DEG to the inner wall, to define an annular pocket between the flange and inner wall for receiving the snap-on lid.
