PURPOSE:To obtain a long life electrode plate with less exfoliation of active substance by causing a plate filled with paste to pass through a pair of roller and a drying furnace and thereafter to pass through another pair of roller. CONSTITUTION:A lead lattice 2 which moves on a belt conveyor 1 is filled with the paste by means of a paste filling device 3 and thereby a plate 4 can be formed. The plate 4 is separated from the conveyor 1 to pass through the rollers 5, 5' and is adequately dried in the horizontal type drying furnace 6. The plate enters the eging treatment after passing through the rollers 7, 7'. Thereby, a plate of excellent life span and performance with less exfoliation of active substance can be obtained. |
