THERMOSENSITIVE COLOR FORMING RECORDING MATERIAL

PURPOSE:To provide the titled material which develops color at a low temperature free from whitening with long passage of time by arranging a colorless or light color forming dye to be developed with an electron accepting substance and diphenyl sulfone derivative. CONSTITUTION:The titled material is so arranged as to contain a colorless or light color forming dye (e.g. 3-N-methylcyclohexylamino-6-methyl-7-phenylaminofluorane) to be developed with an electron accepting substance and 4-methyl-4'- hydroxydiphenylsulfone of the formula as electron accepting substance (developer). The developer demonstrates the action of developing color at by far lower temperature as compared with bisphenol A heretofore used and the color formation of the color forming dye thereby is so excellent in the photoresistance and firmness to sweat to eliminate whitening in the color formation with the long passage of time.
