PURPOSE:To extend the life of a cell and reduce its weight by using a cell case made of a resin layer with a thin metal layer coated or incorporated on the outside or inside in one body in a secondary cell using a thin film of acetylene polymer as an electrode. CONSTITUTION:A polyacetylene electrode 1 applied with a thin gold film 2 on one surface by use of a spattering device is used as a positive electrode and a negative electrode. A support electrolyte 3 additionally serving as doband and dehydrated and dissolved in an acetonitrile solvent is used as an electrolyte. And they are held by a cell holder 4. A resin film 7 made of polyvinyl chloride having a thickness of 100mum with a thin aluminum film 6 having a thickness of 20mum incorporated on the inner center in one body is used as a cell case 5, and its end face is folded and thermocompression-bonded. Accordingly, the cell life is extended and its weight is reduced, thereby the practical energy density can be improved. |
