VEHICLE BODY MEASURING MACHINE DISPENSING WITH POSITIONING WORK

PURPOSE:To achieve accurate measurement of a vehicle body in a simple and clear manner for a very short time as compared with the conventionalvehicle body measuring machine by providing retainable hungers at three and more reference points properly separated off any straight line on the body. CONSTITUTION:A vehicle body measuring machine has three retainable cord- shaped hungers 4 properly the same in the length with a T-shaped fixture 2 at the upper end thereof and a magnet 3 at the lower end thereof at reference points. In addition, a longitudinal been 6 is arranged to be crossable across three reference points properly separated on a body 5 while four transverse beams 7 with a proper length horizontally are arranged to slide along the longitudinal beam 6 maintaining the right angle with respect thereto 6. This eliminates troublesome positioning work taking greater part of working time for measuring the body thereby enabling the completion of accurate measurement of the body for a far shorter time than before in a simple and clear manner.
