PURPOSE:To feed accurately a recording or reproducing transducer without exerting influences upon the feeding accuracy by the performance of a motor, back-lash of a gear, load variation, etc. by forming a positioning means inside a transmission mechanism advancing the recording or reproducing transducer by a driving source. CONSTITUTION:Since conical grooves 22 are formed on every cam rotation angle position corresponding to respective tracks of a magnetic sheet 15, a pin 19 is engaged with the conical groove in every track, so that the transducer device 10 can be precisely positioned. When the transducer 10 is to be moved from the position to another track position, the pin 19 is released from the conical groove 22 and inserted into a hole 21, so that the turning of the cam 7 is not interrupted. In order to improve the feeding accuracy moreover, the cam 7 is positioned by the pin 19 and the conical groove 22 and the transducer device 10 is stopped accurately on a prescribed track of the magnetic sheet 15 by a roller 12 abutted to the cam 7. |
