<p>PURPOSE:To exactly measure the excavation force of an excavator at low cost by detecting forces acting on a bucket at a nearly place of the bucket by means of lesser number of detectors. CONSTITUTION:A strain guage 19 as a means of detecting loads to be imparted on the first pin 5 is attached to the pin 5, and a pressure detector 14 to detect the pressure on the second pin 10 by a bucket cylinder 8 is also provided. Furthermore, an angle detector 15 to detect the angle of the bucket 4 to an arm 3 is provided to make up a measurer. A force F on the pin 10 by the cylinder 8 is obtained from the output of the detector 14, an angle theta between the direction of the force F and the direction of a force B on the pin 11 is obtained, and the force B is obtained from the force F and the angle theta. Load on the pin 5 is detected by the guage 19 to obtain a force A, and an excavation force C is obtained from the force A and the force B.</p> |
