PURPOSE:To make liquid draining after immersion thorough and to treat the surface of long-sized materials with good efficiency without slipping down by disposing concentrically plural treatment tanks and dipping, tilting and moving the bundled long sized material by using a suspension type L-shaped hook. CONSTITUTION:A prescribed number of long-sized materials such as steel pipes are bundled by means of wires or the like to form a steel pipe bundle 26. A carriage 10 is moved to a prescribed position and a suspension beam 18 suspended to a crane carriage 15 is lowered to place the bundle 26 in the arc shaped part 19 of an L shaped hook 19. A crane carriage 15 is moved over a pickling tank 1 or 2, and the hook 19 is lowered to dip the bundle 26 into the pickling soln. The hook 19 is moved upward and downward and is swiveled after dipping to raise the bundle 26, then a hoist is operated to tilt the bundle 26 and to drain the liquid therefrom. The hook 19 is thereafter moved to feed the bundle to a rinsing tank 3, a neutralization tank 4, etc. and the surface treatment is performed by the similar operation. |
