PURPOSE:To enable enough atomization of auxiliary fuel-air mixture through a wide heating area by means of a hot water riser chamber, by a method wherein the hot water riser chamber is located adjacent to the overall lengths of the two primary branch passages of an auxiliary suction passage through the medium of a partition. CONSTITUTION:First and second main suction passages 21 and 22, communicated to first and second main carbrettors 71 and 72, have an introduction passage and a pair of branch passages 51 and 52 which are communicated to first - fourth cylinders 91-94. An auxiliary suction passage 3, communicated to an auxiliary carbrettor 73, has an auxiliary suction introduction passage 10, a pair of primary branch passages 111 and 122 and secondary branch passages 131-134, and is communicated to each of cylinders 91-94. To the overall lengths of the two branch passages 111 and 112 of the auxiliary suction passage 3 and a part of the secondary branch passages 131-134, a hot water riser chamber is disposed therebelow and adjacent thereto through the medium of a partition. |
