PURPOSE:To simplify and automate a washing stage for aircraft parts and to facilitate washing of module parts by performing ice balst washing in place of a mechanical washing stage such as a washing stage by brushing in the washing stage for the aircraft parts. CONSTITUTION:(A) Ice grains are blasted to wash aircraft parts such as jet engine parts in ice blast washing 8 after a defatting stage 1 for immersing said parts in an org. solvent, then spraying steam thereto and removing the fats and oils sticking thereto or, if necessary, after a descaling and conditioning stage 2 and a washing stage 3 for (B) removing the residual fats and oils with a hot concd. alkaline soln. or (C) after a scale conversion stage 4 and a washing stage 3 for immersing the parts in an oxidizing agent such as a potassium permanganate soln. or the like and dissolving and softening the scale. The washing stage is thus simplified, the treatment of waste washing water is made easy, and the parts constituting the module are washed without being partly damaged. |
