A device for shaving sheets (10) of fabric, having a shear cylinder (12) provided with shear spirals (15) and arranged above a rest (21) for the sheet of fabric, as well as cooperating with a lower blade (18), and constructed as a hollow cylinder having openings (27) for air to pass through, which are arranged distributed over its surface (13), as well as having a suction equipment connected to at least one endface of the shear cylinder (12) and to the interior (28) of it, characterized in that the shear spirals (15) and the openings (27) for air to pass through are arranged on the projection-free smooth surface area (13) of the shear cylinder (12) and that the shear cylinder (12) is surrounded over its whole length and in close association peripherally by a nozzle box (29) closed down to a narrow suction opening (30) in the shaving region (16) and that in the interior (23) of the shear cylinder (12) at a short distance from the inner wall (38) of the cylinder and fixed to the machine a nozzle tube (39) is arranged, at least one nozzle (40) of which, arranged in a limited peripheral portion, is associated with the shaving zone (16).</p> |
