PURPOSE:To reduce the number of outputs of a port and transmission lines by transmitting numeral data between units in series. CONSTITUTION:In the storage device 12 in a center control board 11 as an external unit for data transmission, 8-bit numeric data as the exposure reference of, for example, an endoscope photography system is stored in binary codes. The data is read out, bit by bit, in parallel by a CPU13 and extracted, and then converted into serial data, which is supplied, bit by bit, to the port 14 together with a clock signal. The port 14 sends out the bit data and clock signal to transmission lines of two systems for the data and clock and they are transmitted to the photographing mechanism part unit of an endoscope. The bit data is written, bit by bit, successively by the shift register 15 of the unit corresponding to the clock signal and they are read out in parallel and supplied to a D/A converter 16 as a numerical processing circuit. |
