A swivelling armature is mounted piVotally about an axis on the yoke, the armature being attracted by a core passing through an electric coil. The swivel mounting of the armature (7) on the yoke (2) comprises a bearing edge (21) and a counteredge (22), opposite to which are fitted edge retentions (20). The two edges are fitted in the retentions from opposite directions in the plane of the swivel axis (8) without any free play. Pref. the counteredge, with its opposite retention, is fitted in the plane of the swivel axis between two bearing edges and two opposite edge retentions. The bearing edges may be in the form of a right angle forming angular component. The retentions may have a V-shaped cross section of their angular grooves of slightly large dimensions. The retentions may be formed on strips (18), whose opposite sides carry retentions for the different edges.
