<p>For handling bottles of champagne which are placed in a cage-shaped pallet 21 a device is proposed which is provided with a receiver tray 16 for the pallet, capable of pivoting around a horizontal axle 11 and of turning around a vertical axis, and which has the special feature that the receiver tray is made up of two plates 12, 16 parallel to each other and capable of rotating relative to one another around the vertical passing through their middle. Under these conditions the upper plate is made in the form of a rotating turntable tray 16 and is used to receive the pallet 21.
