<p>A dispensing mechanism, preferably for handling coins or tokens for machines intended for entertainment or for playing games, which comprises an endless loop conveyor 1 which can be actuated selectively, the displacement path of which includes a slack portion 18. A store 16 for the article which has to be dispensed supplies said articles either on the inside of the conveyor or on the outside of it. The conveyor is preferably formed from a plurality of segments 2 connected in an articulated manner, each one of which has a sensing lip 5 on it, provided with a vertical agitator 6. The conveyor forms part of the bottom of the store 16, in such a manner that any supply of articles which have to be dispensed which are retained in it are agitated when the conveyor moves through the slack portion, the conveyor entraining an article and dispensing it at an outlet 15 located above the slack portion 18.</p> |
