PURPOSE:To reduce running cost and save energy by a method wherein a gas and liquid contacting mechanism, utilizing a filler for humidifying, is arranged in the path of purified air and a heated water supplying device, in which a submerged combustion burner is arranged in a water retrieving tank, is connected to supply heated water. CONSTITUTION:Atmosphere is introduced into the air conditioner 2 after being purified through a wire net 3 and a roll filter 4, most of the purified air is fed to the gas and liquid contacting mechanism 10 and humidified under being heated by contacting with hot water heated by the submerged combustion burner 18. A part of the purified air is fed to a heating device 12 and is injected from a rectangular frame annular body 29 after being heated by a direct combustion type burner 11. The air, humidified and heated by the gas and liquid contacting mechanism 10, and the air, heated by the heating device 12, are mixed at the rectangular frame annular body 29 to obtain the objective conditioned air of 20 deg.C of temperature and 30% of humidity while the conditioned air is supplied to a painting booth 1 through a fan 9 to maintain the interior of the painting booth 1 at the desired temperature and humidity. The air, introduced into the heating device 12, is the air purified simply and is heated by the direct combustion type burner 11, therefore, the thermal efficiency is very good. |
