PURPOSE:To stamp without stopping the feed of a copy, by a method wherein a stamp roller operated at a linear velocity equal to that of copy-feeding rollers is rotated at a predetermined timing on the basis of a copy detection signal. CONSTITUTION:On the side of the copy-feeding roller 4, the stamp roller 15 is faced to a copy-feeding passage 11, and a stamp 18 having a diameter equal to those of the copy-feeding rollers 3, 4 is provided. On the upper side of the stamp roller 15, a pressure wheel 19 functioning as a stamp base member faced to the roller is rotatably supported by a bracket 20 while being pressed downward. When the copy 12 is detected by a sensor 27, an electric current is supplied to a solenoid 37 at a predetermined timing in accordance with the distance from the copy 12 to a stamping position and the linear velocity of the roller 4, thereby engaging a clutch mechanism 32, and the stamp roller 15 is started to rotate, thereby starting the stamping operation. During this rotation, the roller 15 is supplied with an ink by being pressed against an ink roller 24. |
